Position Description
The SustAInLivWork Centre of Excellence invites applications for the position of Project Expert in Process Automation Area. We are looking for a technically strong, analytical, and innovative professional responsible for developing the organisation's business management systems, process automation, integration of artificial intelligence solutions, and software compliance and certification processes.
The project SustAInLivWork is co-funded under the European Union's Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement No. 101059903 and under the European Union Funds’ Investments 2021-2027 (project No. 10-042-P-0001).
Reports to: Head of the Strategic Management HUB
Type of Contract: Project-based contract, full-time employment (40 hours / week)
Remuneration package: 31,08 EUR per hour (Gross). Gross income (Bruto) is the amount of salary or wages paid to an individual before any deductions are taken.
Location: SustAInLivWork Centre of Excellence (CoE) (Artificial Intelligence Excellence Centre at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)), Kaunas, Lithuania.
The role requires on-site presence at KTU, with the possibility of partial remote work.

Main duties and responsibilities
Project Expert in Process Automation Area will:
Design, deploy, administer, and continuously improve the organization’s business management, workflow, and digital process systems.
Analyze existing organizational, administrative, and operational processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and develop advanced automation and optimization solutions.
Lead the implementation, integration, testing, and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across organizational workflows.
Identify strategic opportunities for the application of AI, robotic process automation (RPA), low-code/no-code technologies, and digital transformation solutions.
Develop technical documentation, workflow diagrams, process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in AI, automation, digital transformation, enterprise systems, and process optimization.
Participate in the preparation of technical reports, project deliverables and internal recommendations.
Requirement for the Candidate
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Hold at least a Master's degree in management, information technology, computer science, social sciences, political sciences, public administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in implementing, administering, coordinating, or improving management, monitoring, digitalization, or process automation systems.
Experience working with business management platforms, workflow systems, CRM, ERP, project management, document management, or other organizational digital systems.
Strong technological literacy and the ability to confidently work with digital communication, process management, and organizational software tools.
Ability to analyze organizational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose practical digital or automation-based improvements;
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail;
Ability to independently plan tasks, manage priorities, and work in an innovation-oriented environment;
Proficiency in English (C2); Lithuanian language proficiency (C2).
