Social Media Manager for ECIU University activities
As a member of European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), Kaunas University of Technology is co-creating ECIU University – a European University of the future. ECIU University invites learners, teachers, and researchers to cooperate with business and social stakeholders to solve real-life challenges.
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator (20 hours per week) to create content and manage ECIU social media platforms (e. g. Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin) with a strong focus on ECIU University activities.
Responsibilities
Co-develop and implement social media strategy aligned with the marketing, communication and dissemination objectives of ECIU University and the main target audiences.
Edit, create and coordinate an engaging content for ECIU social media platforms.
Manage day-to-day activities on social media, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
Ensure consistent branding, messaging and tone of voice across ECIU social media.
Stay updated on trends and best practices in social media management, and incorporate new approaches to increase engagement.
Keep track of key events and news at ECIU University and in the European higher education landscape.
Work in close cooperation with ECIU University Marketing and Communication team, students and colleagues from ECIU and member universities to ensure the creation and alignment of social media activities.
Requirements
Higher education degree in marketing, business management, communications or similiar (or currently 3-4th year student).
English language proficiency: at least C1 level (CEFR for languages).
Experience in social media management and good understanding of overall trends in communication.
Knowledge of social media algorithms and functionality.
Video content creation skills.
Creative mindset and ability to conceive innovative ideas.
Capability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and international environment.
Result and impact oriented personality, with a strong sense of ownership, project and time managements skills.

Gross (before taxes) monthly salary up to 1400 €, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position offers a project contract (temporary employment, residence in Lithuania) with possible extension of employment. Online or hybrid work conditions can be negotiated.
