Associate Professor | 0.25 FTE | Centre of Interdisciplinary Competences for Sustainability
Doctor of Science in the field of Technological Sciences, Environmental Engineering (T004).
Pedagogical experience:
- at least 3 years of teaching experience in the fields of sustainable industrial development, cleaner production, life cycle assessment, biodegradable waste management, and sustainable resource management;
- experience as a head of a master’s degree programme;
- experience working in a student admissions committee.
Experience in research activities:
- conducting research and publishing results related to improving the effectiveness of environmental protection, resource-efficient management, biodegradable waste management, applying life cycle assessment methods, and environmental protection technologies;
- preparing, implementing, and managing research and experimental development projects under national and international programmes;
- participating in research outsourced by economic entities to analyse wastewater and sewage sludge management solutions;
- assessing the risks of hazardous chemicals and risk mitigation solutions in industry and the construction sector;
- preparing material and energy balances for industrial facilities.
Languages of teaching: Lithuanian and English.
Required level of English proficiency: C1.
Experience in supervising the students’ final degree projects: final degree projects of the students of the second cycle studies and consulting the students of the third cycle studies.
Knowledge of specific technologies: knowledge of water treatment technologies.
Work experience with specific equipment: 3 years of work experience with SimaPro software and Ecoinvent databases.
Type of employment contract: fixed-term employment contract for a 5-year term.

- a list of the published research and other works compiled by KTU Library or the candidates (if they do not work or study at KTU) and signed by the candidate. The candidates who are not KTU employees are required to submit a free-form list of their published scientific works, including full bibliographic descriptions and DOI (if any);
- additional documents and material proving the candidate's research and pedagogical activities or qualification (at the candidate's discretion).
