Senior Researcher | 1.0 FTE | Laboratory of Dynamics
Doctor of Science in Measurement Engineering (T010).
Pedagogical experience: in areas related to mechatronics.
Experience in research activities:
- experience in preparing proposals for national and/or international projects that have received external competitive funding;
- experience participating in national and/or international R&D projects in the area of mechatronics.
Languages of teaching: Lithuanian and English.
Required level of English proficiency: C1.
Experience in supervising the students’ final degree projects: final degree projects of the students of the first and second cycle studies.
Knowledge of specific technologies: experience in the development of embedded systems and electronic circuit boards, in the area of small displacement and vibration measurement, and in the development of actuators and sensors.
Work experience with specific equipment: A 3D laser Doppler vibrometer (Polytec PSV-500-3D-HV) and a microindentor (Anton Paar TriTec OPX-MCT).
Additional required experience and competencies: an interdisciplinary connection between mechanics and measurement engineering.
Type of employment contract: fixed-term employment contract for a 5-year term.

- copies of higher education diplomas, diplomas of scientific degrees (if data about them is not available in KTU Human Resources System);
- a description of academic activities for the position according to the science/artistic: Natural Sciences, Technologies, Medicine and Health Sciences;
- an activity plan for a period of five years;
- a declaration about the mandatory competencies required for an Established Researcher;
- a list of the published research and other works compiled by KTU Library or the candidates (if they do not work or study at KTU) and signed by the candidate. The candidates who are not KTU employees are required to submit a free-form list of their published scientific works, including full bibliographic descriptions and DOI (if any);
- additional documents and material proving the candidate's research and pedagogical activities or qualification (at the candidate's discretion).
